Ride Health communicates information about the patient’s ride to a designated point of contact. This information includes date and time of ride, pick up and drop off location, driver’s name, make and model of the driver’s car, and other relevant details such as the driver’s estimated time of arrival.
This section allows you to review and specify who should receive this information about the ride(s) you are creating and how they should receive this information.
The fields here default to the preferences specified in the Patient’s Profile. You can click on the fields to change these defaults, the changes will be applied to the ride, not to the Patient’s Profile.
1. Select who will receive information about this ride.
2. The Patient or the Patient’s Caregiver (if one has been specified in the Patient’s Profile).
3. I, (Username), meaning the person creating this ride.
4. A Clinical Contact, meaning a point person at the facility who can receive information about the ride on the patient’s behalf when the patient or their caregiver does not travel with a phone. If you select Clinical Contact, you will be prompted to specify their name and phone number from your organization’s directory, see {article} for more information.
5. Other, meaning any other person who should receive information about this ride on the patient’s behalf.
6. Whoever the point of contact is, specify if they should receive communication as text messages or automated calls and at what phone number they should receive these texts or calls.
7. If the patient is selected as the direct point of contact and they do not travel with a phone (as specified in their patient profile), you will be prompted to designate an alternate contact to receive information on the patient’s behalf when the patient needs a ride from the facility to their home.
8. Click Continue.
